Accommodation at Sogndalstrand Kulturhotell in unique, historical surroundings. The hotel consists of 11 different buildings with 29 guest rooms. All rooms have been restored to today’s standard of comfort. As all the buildings are originally from the last century, the rooms vary in shape and size. They also have a slightly different style, but we have chosen to stay within a traditional and nostalgic line.
All rooms have a private bathroom, most have a shower, but some with a bath. All rooms and common areas are non-smoking.
We can guarantee accommodation in rooms with soul and atmosphere!
In all our rooms you will find:

– Curtains that darken the room
– Kettle
A couple of our rooms may be suitable for those who travel more in a company / family, or just want a little more spacious space. Feel free to ask us what is best for your entourage.

Hiking between sea and mountains
From the coastal areas, Sokndal extends inwards a whole landscape with peaks of up to 600 meters above sea level.
Here are great hiking areas with many marked hiking trails and summit hikes, so here you can choose to go short or longer hikes, with varying degrees of difficulty. The marked summit hikes are very popular.
Golf Vacation near the sea
Golf may not be the first thing you think of in connection with Sogndalstrand, but only 5 minutes from this pleasant town with ancestry from the sailing ship era, golf has also established itself.
If you want a little break from everyday life, you can combine a relaxing stay by the coast with a few rounds of golf.

Roads and paths run between fjords and heaths. Little traffic, small height difference and good bike paths make the area around Sogndalstrand particularly bike-friendly – and is well suited for several nice excursions.
